Downtown businesses may apply for a street patio or parklet to create new community spaces for patrons. Patios are leased from May 5 to Oct. 31, 2025.

This project is in partnership with the Downtown District Business Improvement Association (DBIA) to enhance outdoor experiences that support a lively urban environment and solidify the Downtown District as a culinary and entertainment destination.

Insurance

Policy Requirements
The insurance provided must name the City of Belleville as additional insured.
If Facility is Licensed: Must be in the amount of at least $5,000,000.00 for bodily injury for any one or more persons or damage to the property of others, in respect of each occurrence.
If Facility is not Licensed: Must be in the amount of at least $2,000,000.00 for bodily injury for any one or more persons or damage to the property of others, in respect of each occurrence.
