Downtown businesses may apply for a street patio or parklet to create new community spaces for patrons. Patios are leased from May 5 to Oct. 31, 2025.
This project is in partnership with the Downtown District Business Improvement Association (DBIA) to enhance outdoor experiences that support a lively urban environment and solidify the Downtown District as a culinary and entertainment destination.

Oversize/Overweight Load Annual Permit (OO Annual) - City of Belleville
An Oversize/Overweight Annual Permit (O/O Annual) allows for the hauling of oversize/overweight loads during the period permitted, as defined by the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), that are within the specified maximum weights and dimensions permitted, and that are also subject to seasonal, fixed and temporary load restrictions.

Oversize/Overweight Load Seasonal Permit (OO Seasonal) - City of Belleville
An Oversize/Overweight Seasonal Permit (O/O Seasonal) allows for the hauling of oversize/overweight loads during the period permitted, as defined by the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), that are within the specified maximum weights and dimensions permitted, and that are also subject to seasonal, fixed and temporary load restrictions.

Oversize/Overweight Load Trip Permit (OO Trip) - City of Belleville
An Oversize/Overweight Load - Trip Permit (OO Trip) is required for the transportation of a load(s) that exceeds the limits prescribed in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), on a specific day(s), on a specific route, that is not already allowed for by a current Oversize/Overweight Load - Annual Permit (OO Annual).
A Road Cut Permit relates to any activity that involves the cutting, excavation, boring, filling, additions, or altering in any way, roadways, curbs, sidewalks, boulevards, ditches, trails, and other areas within the right-of-way.
The Road Cut Permit includes road occupancy within the work zone.
Drawings are to be in compliance with the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM).
A Road Entrance permit is required to add or reclassify a permanent or temporary road entrance at a specific location. The project of adding or modifying the road entrance may be subject to a Work in Right-of-Way permit that is associated with the Road Entrance permit.
A Road Occupancy Permit relates to any activity that results in traffic disruption, including bins, materials and equipment blocking lanes.
